Mom & Baby Yoga (6 weeks - new walkers)

This unique class combines yoga and play to get back in shape while strengthening the bond between you and your infant.  Experience flowing asanas, challenging postures, and calming restorative time in a playful and safe environment for babies. Learn Baby Yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns, and help your infant towards their next stage of development. Dads are welcome too! All levels. Class is 1 hour.

Learn the benefits of Baby Yoga

 

Mom & Baby Pilates (6 weeks - crawlers)

Spend a special hour bonding with your pre-crawler while safely and effectively strengthening your deepest core muscles. You will learn the best way to access your "inner corset" while moving through a series of Pilates exercises designed to enhance well being, lengthen, and tone. Baby will blossom in this safe and supportive environment, where gentle touch and social atmosphere encourage play and progress. All levels welcome. Class is 1 hour.

 

Parent & Child (strong walkers - 3 yrs)

Partner with your toddler in simple animated poses, games, art, music and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. We'll bark in downward dog, hiss in cobra pose and flutter our wings in butterfly, while we take a yoga journey that your child will never forget! This fun class provides key bonding methods between parent and child, while strengthening their growing muscles. Caregivers welcome. Class is 45 minutes.

 

 

Kids Community Yoga

This class includes all of the yoga fun, with an economy friendly price tag. Group poses are emphasized. For ages 2 - 5 years, with or without a grownup (2 year olds must have a grownup participate in class). Class is 45 minutes.

 

 

StoryTime (Infant - 6 yrs)


Storytime comes alive with puppets, songs and yoga poses. Carefully selected stories that naturally lend themselves to yoga! As we read we'll come across animals and elements of nature that we know from yoga...we'll stop the story, do the yoga pose, then continue with our story. StoryTime is 30 minutes.

 

Kids Only Yoga Classes

3 - 4 year olds


Fun, inspirational classes encourage a child's natural thirst for knowledge. In this imaginative series, we combine simple yoga poses with engaging songs, puppets and stories that exercise social, sensory and motor skills while increasing flexibility. Class is 45 minutes.

 

4 - 6 year olds

This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids sing, draw and play yoga in this energy releasing class. Class is 45 minutes.

 

Glow-in-the-Dark Yoga

Be sure to wear white to this special glow-in-the-dark yoga class! We'll create a magical environment with an emphasis nature poses. Our partner poses, group poses and games will light up the room! For ages 5 - 7.

 

 

7 - 9 year olds

Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, breathing and basic anatomy. Class is 45 minutes.

 

 

 

10 - 12 year olds

Help build strength and flexibility with more physically challenging postures and flowing sequences. Promote self-confidence, awareness and control. Visualization and breathing exercises are used for overall balance and concentration, which can be applied toward everyday situations. Partner and group poses are emphasized. Age appropriate yoga games are included in every class. Class is 1 hour.

 

 

Teens (13 and up)

Using yoga postures to build inner and outer strength and flexibility are the main focus of this class. Also included are partner and group poses and playful yoga games. Experience emotional balance through the physical and mental benefits of yoga by practicing breathing exercises, flowing sequences, balancing poses and deep relaxation while building a healthy relationship with your body. Positive self-awareness and esteem are encouraged. Class is 1 hour.

Peace In (Private Teen Group Yoga)

Learn effective yogic tools to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression, and other challenges facing teens. Practice breathing techniques to calm, energize, and balance the nervous system, practice flowing sequences, challenging poses, partner and group poses, restorative yoga, and deep relaxation. Dive deeper into the history and philosophy of yoga, sanskrit, and meditation. Students will develop compassion and self-confidence, empowering them to be agents of peace in the world. Class is 1 hour and is by appointment only.

 

Family Yoga Class

(Class for 4 - 6 yrs and 7+ yrs)


Yoga is a great activity that you can do with your child no matter what age! Partner poses are emphasized, ensuring great bonding time. We'll play yoga games, practice partner acrobatics, and flying partner yoga, all while building confidence and self-esteem, as well as a strong and healthy bodies. Self-expression through yoga is encouraged.

This class promises fun for the whole family because you can do yoga together forever! Class is 45 minutes.

 

 

 

CircusYoga (7 and up)


CircusYoga blends the consciousness of yoga with the communal celebration of circus. It fosters connection, play and communication through Circus Skills (Juggling, Devil Sticks, and more), Group Games and Invention, Acrobatics, Flying Partner Yoga, Tightwire and Balance, and Creative Movement. CircusYoga principles include courage, trust, connection, collaboration, deep listening, community and celebration.
Class is 1 hour.

Prenatal Yoga

Strengthen mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy; relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery. This class is beneficial at anytime during pregnancy. Class is 75 minutes.

Prenatal Pilates

This Pilates-based class is recommended for women at any stage during pregnancy and welcomes all levels. Learn exercises to strengthen the core muscles of the abdomen, gluteus, legs, back and pelvis and help maintain a strong and healthy body throughout pregnancy. These exercises will help maintain abdominal tone in a safe way and aid in preventing or minimizing "diastasis recti" (separation of the abdominal muscles that may occur during pregnancy and/or delivery). Classes are open level and beginners are welcome. Exercises can be modified throughout the pregnancy to accommodate women at all stages. Group class size is limited to ensure personalized attention. Class is 1 hour.

 

 

 

Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga

Strengthen the mind, body and spirit with a special focus on the core muscles of the abdomen, gluteus, legs, back and pelvis to maintain a strong and healthy body throughout pregnancy and early motherhood. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve common discomforts of pregnancy and postpartum, as well as exercises to help maintain abdominal tone in a safe way and aid in minimizing or healing "diastasis recti" (separation of the abdominal muscles that may occur during pregnancy and/or delivery). The practice also includes relaxation and breathing techniques. This class is recommended for women at any stage of their pregnancy and 6 weeks after delivery and welcomes all levels. Group size is limited to ensure personalized attention. Class is 75 minutes.

 

 

 

Restorative Yoga (Adults Only)

This is the dessert of yoga classes!

Experience the zen of the class in restful postures that will relax the body and still the mind, leaving you nourished and well rested. Gentle stretching and melting into bolsters, blocks, blankets, and other props will help parents to find their inner peace and a place of deep relaxation. Class is 90 minutes of pure yumminess.

 

 

 

 

Private Yoga Class


Kids can practice yoga one-on-one or in a small group with one of our fun and experienced children's yoga instructors. Private classes for families, groups of friends, moms and babies - we can accommodate most groups. Can be held at our space or yours.

Class is one hour. Private classes are for up to 4 participants. Additional fee for larger groups. By appointment only.

 

 

Baby Fingers Baby Sign Language

Join Lora Heller, program founder, to learn American Sign Language through songs and play with other parents and babies or toddlers. Go home each week with new vocabulary and new tunes to enhance communication between you and your child!

Whether you intend to incorporate sign language in your life for the long term or simply during this pre-verbal/developing verbal time, watch in awe as your baby or toddler discovers the world of language. See the research come to life, as music and sign language both aid in the development of language and literacy. Class is 45 minutes.
